Does a photograph define you?

Well, yes it does. Dougal Rose tells you how...

Welcome to you! Yes you. In the same way that long lasting pop and rock stars re-create themselves, so can you. And it's important that you do - because who and where you are now is not necessarily who and where you want to be in the future.

“We cannot control the wind, but we can direct the sail”

Do you have a design in mind for your personal identity? The beauty of photography is that you can literally sculpt the image that you wan't people to see. Whether you prefer a naturally trendy look or going for edgy sophistication - there needs to be a plan. Think of it as your own advertising campaign. It has to be carefully and precisely thought through, orchestrated and created. Corporates call it branding. This is personal branding.

Presenting you...

When people deliver a presentation within a company, sometimes that presentation helps or hinders their career. The way they come across, however good they may be in their job, is being assessed and sometimes helps or hinders their career. Just like food, presentation is sometimes key. Presentation makes people say 'great', or 'um, not so great'. Everything is becoming so media orientated now. So it's vital you present yourself on every type of media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn etc..) in a way in which you want important people to perceive you. In a way which will help them have the impression of you that you would want them to have, and this might mean looking ahead. Does the image of you take you to where you want to be?

Aspects to consider are of course; clothing, style of photo, background, hairstyle, colours...if you need ideas, lets talk and plan the way ahead.
